冯客（Frank Dikotter），荷兰籍历史学家，曾任教于伦敦大学亚非学院，现为香港大学人文学院讲座教授。他最新出版的《毛泽东的大饥荒：1958-1962年的中国浩劫史》（Mao's Great Famine: The Story of China's Most Devastating Catastrophe）获2011年度英国约翰逊（Samuel Johnson Prize）图书奖

冯客先后出版过九本关于中国历史的书籍，是位中国历史研究专家。

他目前的研究题目是：文化大革命。希望有过文革经历的人，把自己所见、所闻、所知写下来，为冯客教授的写作研究提供资料。为历史做有力的见证。
